My Approach

Through my own multiracial background and myriad of transitional experiences across the globe over the years, I've learned that challenges and grief come in many forms: unfulfilled dreams, college/career changes, ended relationships, lost sense of self, and beyond. Counseling allowed me to change the course of my own life. My passion now is to provide the therapeutic support and expertise to empower you to claim the same in your own life.

As persistent as your challenges may feel, know that you are capable of transforming your life. Your past does not have to dictate your future. My developed approaches support you in discovering and embracing your authentic self. We will personalize your treatment together to meet your specific needs and desires.

My therapeutic approach focuses on developing integrative combinations of the following:

  • solutions-focused

  • trauma-informed

  • strengths-based

  • somatic mindfulness

  • cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)

  • acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)

If you decide you are ready to exit survival mode and move into thriving zones of life, then I look forward to starting this process with you. It would be my honor to share in a portion of your journey - to support you in claiming the increased stability, confidence, and fulfillment in your life that you have always deserved.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC, #LC10889) in the state of Maryland and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been working full-time since graduating from Johns Hopkins University in 2018 with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and inducted member of Chi Sigma Iota counseling honor society. I am enthusiastic over continual learning of evidence-based practices to support optimal outcomes for all of my clients.
